It's July Already??

Wow, I didn't post anything the whole month of June!  Of course I was somewhat incapacitated for a couple weeks recovering from acromioplasty (rotator cuff surgery).  The first week I was totally wiped out on meds, then it was regaining use of my left arm.  But God is great! and I am near 80% back after less than a month.

A friend at church is getting married today and I put this little mini album togethr for her.  I used the "one the edge" die from Tim Holtz and it was a little difficult to match up since it wasn't full size, but I worked through that.
The flower on the front cover is cut from organdy and burned and layered.  The initials are some clear acrylic from my stash that I backed with some of the paper from her invitation.
The roses are airbrushed and my fingernails are just starting to get back to normal.  They have been blue for a week.
Border punch by EK Success, Rosette from T.H. die, black metal flower brad.
I couldn't find the rest of the wedding paper that I used from the last wedding album, so I made my own using a fiskars heart stamp in second generation bamboo ink.  The flowers on this page are also airbrushed.  Have I said how much i love my copic airbrush system?
Buttons and hearts are sizzix dies as is the leaf.  Roses are airbrushed.  Small "real" button has blue glitter on the back side.  Round die cut (Spellbinders) has the center cut out.

Hope you enjoyed looking at my creation and hope it inspires you.

Mom mini album

I got some Adirondack alcohol inks today and I'm dying... (get it) to use them, but knew that I had to finish this little album first or it would be sitting forever. This is page 3 and 4. The ribbon had white dots and they didn't look right with the beige and colonial white, so I used a q-tip and light brown ink and colored the dots. The two little flowers on the top of page 4 were to cover a boo-boo where I smeared the red ink, but I think it looks okay. I was going to stamp the buttoms with stazon ink but it didn't come out as crisp as I wanted so ended up just stamping on the cs. It's the same effect.
First and second generation stamping of flowers

The completed album.

Mom mini album

I woke up at 3 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. So I got up and worked on this.

Page 1 and 2 of the mini album I started Monday. I realized after stamping the flourish on page 2 that I think it is suppose to be a candle. Well, so it's an upside down candle now. The flowers on page 1 I bought at a garage sale a couple years ago. The ribbons I dyed with coffee because they were white and I wanted an ecru. The only colors in this are going to be the black, brown, beige or ecru and red. At least that is the plan right now. Each page is one inch longer than the first page, and again, each one is on chipboard.

Mini Shopping Bag Album

Okay, so I was suppose to have two projects to post today, but the candles I was stamping didn't turn out. But I do like the way this turned out. The bag was cut with cricut (love my cricut!), and the flowers are ctmh dimensional elements. Stamps are from ctmh Kindred Spirits, the June Constant Campaign. If you have a gathering with $350 sales (which really isn't that hard) you get this stamp set for free! There are many more stamps that go to this set other than what I show on this project. Papers are from the ctmh Summer Celebrations kit. Wowzers, that kit goes a long way! I have done a ton of stuff with it and still have a LOT left. Oh yes, the ribbon is from the Colonial White set, and I used liquid glass on the center to the flower
